Leaker Jon Prosser ,A tech analyst and twitter user said that Apple will launch the 'iPhone 9' on April 15th while the shipment will start on April 22nd.
According to him:
"Per an internal meeting yesterday, Apple is now preparing for an April release."
Prosser writes that the April 15th and April 22nd dates are tentative give that "we're in the middle of a pandemic". He also says that to help with the launch, Apple is shipping iMacs to some retail employees who will offer sales and tech support to customers online.
For the iPhone 9 launch, Apple might be conducting an online-only event.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the earlier 31 March launch got delayed.
The mid-range of the iPhone 9 might come on April 15 along with the Plus model.
There is no official statement from Apple whether the iPhone launch will be postponed or not. iPhone 9 Plus exists as per the iOS 14 code, and the release might happen in mid-April.
